Dear mama,


It’s ok to cry. To mourn the idea of what you thought your life was going to be with this little one growing inside you. Let it all out, but don’t let it consume you. Move forward because when you look back at this very moment you’ll wonder why you were so worried. 


I’m in the early stages of this wonderful journey and I can only tell you that each day, hour, and minute that goes by gets better and better. Being a first time mom I thought having a child with an extra chromosome was going to make me feel excluded in all the first time mom activities, but it didn’t.

I feel like I have double the support and inclusion from mamas, families and friends. You’ll see from the beginning your babe is and always will be magic.
